Amman
If Amman was a book, it would probably read like a light novel. A relative newborn compared to regional stalwarts like Riyadh or Damascus, the pages of Amman’s history lack similar depth. Still, Amman warrants more attention than simply being a transit point en-route to Petra or the Dead Sea – this city is comfortable to explore, and its modern luxuries afford a palatable experience to first-time travelers in the region.
